Event: Ryan Montbleau
When: Thursday, 9 p.m.
Where: The Westcott Theater
Desc.: The New England-based singer-songwriter will play songs from his newest album, “I Was Just Leaving,” including hits like “Fast Car,” “All or Nothing” and “75 and Sunny.” Singer-songwriter Cris Jacobs will open for Montbleu.

Event: Qwister
When: Thursday, 9:30 p.m.
Where: Funk ‘n Waffles Downtown
Desc.: The self-described reggae-jam rock Qwister will bring its signature sound to Syracuse, along with opening act Late Earth.

Event: Syracuse Poster Project Unveiling
When: Friday, 6-8 p.m.
Where: City Hall Commons Atrium
Desc.: The Syracuse Poster Project will release 16 posters for their 2017 series, a collaboration between poets and Syracuse artists to create illustrated posters. There will be art, beverages, appetizers and music.

Event: Double Feature Films at The Palace
When: Friday, 6:30 p.m.
Where: Palace Theatre
Desc.: A double-screening of “The Big Lebowski” and “Purple Rain” play alongside local shorts “Annulment” and “Ghost Walks.”

Event: The Odd Couple
When: Friday, 8 p.m.
Where: Central New York Playhouse
Desc.: Enjoy the opening night of “The Odd Couple,” where a slob and neat freak end up living with each other after a nasty divorce.



Event: Carolyn Wonderland
When: Friday, 9 p.m.
Where: Dinosaur Bar-B-Que
Desc.: Known as the “reigning queen of Austin Blues,” Wonderland will bring her soulful sound to Syracuse this weekend. Proceeds will help fund the July 2017 New York State Blues Fest.

Event: Salt City Horror Fest
When: Saturday, 11:30 a.m.
Where: Palace Theatre
Desc.: It’s time to celebrate with horror. This all-day film festival features seven films on original 35 mm print with horror vendors and cosplayers encouraged to attend.

Event: Dinosaur Bar-B-Que’s 7th Annual Easter Extravaganza
When: Sunday, 12-2 p.m., 3-5 p.m.
Where: Dinosaur Bar-B-Que
Desc.: Dino will celebrate Easter with an all-you-can-eat buffet including Spanish frittata, gumbo, chopped salad, ham, lamb, prime rib, sweet potato bake, simmered greens and other delicious foods. Dessert included.

Event: Open Bluegrass Jam with Andrew Halliday
When: Sunday, 6 p.m.
Where: Funk ‘n Waffles Downtown
Desc.: Join roots-rock and alternative country artist Andrew Halliday for a relaxing Sunday night jam session.
