Tickets for the Syracuse University men's basketball Final Four game against the University of North Carolina are now available to student ticket holders. Each ticket costs $40.

Syracuse University students with 2015-16 SU men’s basketball season tickets are being given the first opportunity to purchase tickets for SU’s Final Four game against No. 1 seed University of North Carolina this weekend.

Tickets costing $40 each went on sale Monday at 9 a.m., according to an email sent to SU men’s basketball season ticket holders. All seats are located on the floor level in Houston’s NRG Center behind the Sour Sitrus Society, SU’s student-run pep band. Those who purchase tickets are only guaranteed these seats for the SU game, which will take place at 8:49 p.m. on April 2.

Student ticket holders can only purchase one ticket each, and must have a valid SU or State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry ID in order to make the purchase, according to the email sent from SU Athletics. Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

If SU wins the game and advances to the championship game, those who have purchased tickets for the Final Four game will automatically receive tickets to the championship game, according to the email.

Non-ticket holders may purchase tickets if any remain after 9 a.m. on Tuesday. Ticket sales will end at 5 p.m. on the same day.

Before entry, a credit card used in the purchase of student tickets and a valid SU or SUNY-ESF ID are required for verification.

No information regarding tickets for the SU women’s basketball team’s Final Four game against No. 7 seed University of Washington in Indianapolis was included in the email.
